Georgia Tech inventors have created various apparatuses, arrangements, and methods for creating various structures, including microstructures. A microstructure is created by packing many particles into a micro-mold, and then applying energy to the particles in the micro-mold. As a result of the application of energy, a microstructure is formed in the micro-mold out of the particles. Thereafter, the microstructure is removed from the micro-mold.
